EXPERT IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

UNIVERSITY OF TRIESTE
RIZZANI DE ECCHER

GOAL
Despite the fact that the construction industry seems to be linked with its tangible aspects such as its products, the competitive advantage of a construction firm depends upon its human capital. It is not product innovation, whose characteristics are determined by the project’s contractor, nor is it process innovation in terms of productive machinery, but rather, it is the innovation of its managerial processes that ensure greater efficiency in the use of resources and effectiveness in reaching its goals. This contribution is provided by its human resources, whose experience and training form intangible assets that differentiate a successful firm from all the rest.
Rizzani de Eccher wishes to ensure a stable supply of this asset and, to do so, has initiated, together with the University of Trieste, a University-level Masters Program in “Project Management – Expert in Project Management in the Construction Industry”.
